I was inspired to create this painting by a picture I took while visiting Chatham, MA in the summer of 2015. The photo was of an art installation called "Sharks in the Park". Each shark was given a personal touch by a local artist. I grabbed a piece of scrap wood and painted a replica of my photo using acrylic paints. I really liked all the different sharks that various artists created. I had a great time mimicking my photograph on this piece of wood I found in our garage. I think it would be fantastic to be part of an art installation like the one I saw in Chatham.  |
